Thread: lets hope favre doesn't choose fiu

Default lets hope favre doesn't choose fiu

Quarterback Dylan Favre has enjoyed a splendid career at St. Stanislaus. He owns virtually every Mississippi state passing record, throwing for more than 10,000 yards and 100 touchdowns in three years.

Despite those impressive, eye-popping statistics, Division I recruiters have shown only lukewarm interest in the passing prodigy from Hancock County.

No major college football program has extended a scholarship offer to Favre, with only a few showing interest: Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Kansas, Florida International, Memphis and Tulsa.

One of Brett Favres nephews, he is an awesome player. Let's hope he doesn't choose FIU out of this list

Maybe we could try to recruit him as a TE prospect.

I think ULL has a lot more to worry about then where Brett Favre's nephew plays college ball; Winning, climbing out a mediocrity, hiring an average coach, justifying their existence as a D-1A program... just to name a few

Kinda short. School lists him as 5-10, which means he's probably 5-9, 5-8.

That school is like 20 minutes from me. It is for the boys that can't make it at St. Paul's or Hannan. It is the type of school your mom warned you about. Perhaps he isn't worth it.

I'm sorry but I've got to call BS on that... I went to grad school with the current head coach there. He would not be a part of what you suggest. St. Stans is a fine school with a great head coach and excellent young men that attend!

I don't know... a friend of mine in BR went to St. Stanislaus. He is a former Navy Seal and a 2-time MMA national champion. He also has a Masters in Chemistry from USM. He told me that people who go to St. Stans are troubled teens and thugs. I'll have to get a better explanation.

Back when I was in grade school and high school, the word was that Stanislaus was a boarding school for bad kids, period. That doesn't mean it was a bad SCHOOL.
