Jordan Wallace struck out 13 and surrendered just two hits and Kelsey Vincent's three-run home run in the third inning allowed No. 9 Louisiana to pull away from NC State in a 6-0 victory in the 2015 season opener.

JW looks to be very focused and hand and shoulder seem just fine at this time!
Gotta plunk one every now and then so they don't get too comfortable in the batter's box.
DC, that picture is from last year. LOL. Anyway Jordan's stuff looked really good with a lot of movement and jump on her ball. Velocity was good and showed a change up at times. Still a bit wildness at times with 4 hit batsman and a couple walks but her stuff was so good she was able to pitch out of those situations. She does appear to have more confidence this year where a bad pitch didn't affect her mentally. If she gains even more control on those wild pitches she is going to be awesome! Hoping to see Hamilton pitch this weekend.
A lot of swings at her pitches had no chance of connecting. Hitters were clueless as to how to catch up to her speed or track her movement.
This was a great way for her to start off the season. I hope this is a sign of more great things to come.
If Jordan and Christina can perform like we know they can, this team will be very dangerous.
