Preview: Louisiana vs. Appalachian State

Coming off a double-overtime victory last Saturday at Texas State, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team will return to the Cajundome for a pair of games beginning Thursday against Appalachian State in a 5 p.m. contest. After facing App State (10-9, 5-5 SBC) in the second-ever meeting between the schools, Louisiana will close out its homestand on Saturday when it entertains UT Arlington in a 3:15 p.m. contest.

I don't think you will get that early lead often. These young women ware out the other team, and that has been their trademark all season. Constant pressure, and deep pressure. Eventually the others seem to not be able to handle it.

Good point. Their hustle is unbelievable. Sometimes I wish the guys would play with that much energy.

App state men seemed to wear out in the 2nd half last night. Although the press was not used much we were able to get the game in an up tempo mode which was to our benefit. Depth of the cajuns also helped as we played lots of guys last night as usual.
