The same kid who walked on at the school of his dreams, with the coach speak of, walk on and you will get a scholarship next year. The next year they used a special teams scholarship to sign a better Juco Punter. This kid never got on the field. He has all his eligibility remaining, since he has not played.

Its a perfect fit for UL, since it will cost them nothing to find out. And they can find out in the spring. If its who I'm thinking of, I'm certain he can out do the current guys on the roster, if his consistency has improved. Those answers will come in the Spring.

If that has turned into plan A, I hope for UL's sake it works out.

The kid went for his dream, and chose with his heart.... but it didn't happen. Funny how life is, sometimes. This could be a second, first chance.

    This is his Plan B.

    How am I doin' Chipshot?

Without getting into specific names, with the problem we have had getting kickoffs to the goal line, I would say the position warrants a long thread.

His 5 year eligibility clock started the first day he attended class at that other university. It's ticking. Good luck to him.

    You bet!

We lost the FIU on a blocked field goal. Not saying it was the kicker's fault but special teams are important. This is supposed to be Coach Bustle's specialty. We have great stats for blocked kicks like they do at Va Tech where he used to coach, yet our kick coverage is lacking.

If it is so important, why not sign a kicker?? Why should one have to walk on??

Seth Sebastian at Lafayette High can kick. If he doesn't kick here, he will kick somewhere.

He will definitely kick somewhere. I saw the Teurlings game too. I also saw the Barbe game....nasty, muddy, wet, disgusting..ball weighed 20 lbs... Seth booted kickoffs out of the endzone....
