Head coach Rickey Bustle, his staff and players know you're out there. Some of you show up week after week to religiously support the Ragin' Cajuns at Cajun Field. Another segment is there from time to time, depending on the weather and other factors. There's another group that always seems to find a reason to stay home and probably always will.

Great article, Josh! That is what I have been saying for some time now and you brought it to the public in an outstanding way. The Advertiser can and does have a major impact on UL athletics. This article demonstrates that impact, the results of which will be noticed on Saturday. Look for perfect weather, a great crowd, a Cajun win and a changing perception of UL football by the general public, the perfect storm if you will, all coming together at the right time. The attention you brought to this game and your appeal to the public will hopefully be the impetus this community needs to finally start supporting this team and university on a consistent basis the way a major college town should.

Don't say it! It's like mentioning in the 6th inning that the pitcher has a perfect game going.

Now look for Lafayette to experience a freak hailstorm at 2:45 on Saturday.

Just kidding of course. I totally agree with you about how important this game is. If we win here, we're favored at FIU. If we beat FIU, we coast to 7 wins. And 75% of the time, 7 wins means a bowl game!!!
