Was listening to an ESPN interview on XM radio with the basketball coach at UW Green Bay. The introduction was something like this:

UW Green Bay has decided to refer to themselves as just Green Bay. So, here is the head of Green Bay, Brian Wardle.

I checked the UW Green Bay athletic website:

Seems like ESPN is very arbitrary regarding how they want to refer to SOME schools. Just saying.

If we would've had a consistent message for a reasonable amount of time (I'd like it to predate him, but being realistic, I'd settle for when T-Joe took over) and an SID that wasn't a jackhole to the network he was trying to get cooperation from, we wouldn't have our issue. It probably doesn't help much that we're weighted with both a big and little brother that aren't too keen on our efforts and a conference that only cares if tee times are set and they get their handouts from our bowl appearances.
