The Spice is wrong!!!

Our homecoming slogan is worse than a fast food commercial. The spice is friggin right. Lets zero in on the problem, the cottonpicking pepper. This thing not only causes acid reflux, it has stripped us of a manly awesome mascot and given us an inanimate object used to stereotype our culture as spicy food guzzling inbred swine. Everything called cajun outside of lousiana is an abortion of a meal with black pepper dumbed brazenly on it with out regard for your intestine. I hate the pepper. The pepper looks horrible. The pepper gets no reaction at games. The pepper looks like a butt plug. I can go on for hours. I have the best homecoming slogan ever...ready for it......Beat the ____ing Owls!!!

That's for sure, my two youngest (5 &3) flip out anytime he gets close! Last week when i brought them over to give the team high five, the only place I could get was near the chearleaders. Well he was right there and they both started doing circles around me and ran away...It was actually pretty funny b/c I didn't see what they were freaking out about until my 3 yr old was in tears. I had to go on the opposite side of the chearleader just to get them to chill out!

I don't love the slogan, but it's a Homecoming theme. Who cares?
Any truth to the rumor homecoming is going to be a "blackout" and UL is going to come out in all black UNI's?
