Ok, so what was your point in bringing uo dex? You think he would had us ranked higher than first?

Thinking back on last year.. God, it was so great. So much fun.
Ranked unanimous #1 was a thrill.
I can't imagine Dex being in that lineup, last year. That would have been even more all time than that team already proved to be.
Do you argue just for the sake of argument? My god I'm getting tired of reading your non stop chatty cathy uninformed opinion of everything. As the old saying goes, It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt. No I don't think Dex would have had us "ranked higher than first" you sarcastic nitwit, but like I said originally, I can't help but wonder if he could have been the difference to get us over the hump in game 3 of the Supers… possibly been a catalyst or something...
And the point of bringing up Dex was to say we didn't return everyone, but rather lost our most productive player from the 40 win regional team the year before. Just again, proving that you make inaccurate comments all over this damn site, but get sassy when someone points out that your "facts" are a little skewed.
I don't know if he would have done it the same had he stayed because they might handle it differently once they are invested with you but I talked to a royals scout mid season and he was still recovering from surgery and working his way back. He didn't make his pro debut until may 26th 2014.
He was playing through it at the time so he could have continued by he coukd t really pass up the offer... He was staying, they came in late after the draft and signed him without permission to talk from tony. Imw weren't lacking talent and certainly werent lacking hitters, it just didn't happen in the end. Maybe if scoob or plitt' arme weren't falling off or it doesn't start raining and bout doesn't leave 2 hanging for bombs or harrison doesn't drop one in the lights we advance, dex never crossed my mind at any point. Personally I feel we were 1 rested arm away.

Just a comparison of the person Dex would have started over had he stayed. I don't know how it would have turned out, but anyone who wonders "what if" is definitely justified.
If healthy Dex would have started if he had stayed, that being said, D-But was a pretty good fill in for Dex.
It's all what ifs, what if his injury got worse, what if did have the surgery anyway, what if he messed uo chemistry, butler had some big moments too... Your buddy came out like f'n smart az BC I said we returned everyone and overlooked 1 guy, I'm pretty sure there were some seniors I overlooked that graduated from that team. I was pretty sure you would be
Right behind him defending him... It's ashame it took the best season in history and getting scalped for the regional to convince him to buy season tickets... Hopefully the wagon doesn't empty when we come back to earth or cajun baseball isn't as "cool" as it was last year. I have a feeling if we take some early lumps, getting a seat will be pretty easy this year.
All the guys did their part... Dex is monster and ended that year destroying the ball but he too started that year not being able to hit his way out of a paper bag, which makes his ending numbers that much more impressive...but hitters slump and Yiu just hope they don't all slump at once or the wrong time.
