I guess it was midweek when I noticed that even with all the remodeling going on Borden's Ice Cream Shoppe took the time to show some UL Ragin' Cajuns Homecoming Spirit. My hat goes off .

My family frequented Borden's a lot when I was a young girl, good memories.

I like the idea of outdoor window seating it sure beats the hedges.

Took the family home for the annual trip to the Motherland, and was looking forward to my customary chocolate malt. I was surely disappointed, but very happy to see this landmark being renovated. I can't wait until next year, when I can give myself two malts for having missed this year!

And, in that spirit, I helped myself to two Alesi's visits while I was here.

I went to "Yell Like Hell" Wendesday night and to the NPHC Greek expo last night and I'd like to congratulate all the greek organizations on putting on two great shows.

Ironically they had to close for renovations homecoming week for the contractor to install the marble floors.

It's just the way things fell.
