UL — It took just one catch to make Marlin Miller’s on-campus visibility increase considerably at the University of Louisiana.
“Everyone at school knows me now. I’ll be walking around and people are coming up to me with congratulations saying ‘good catch’, all that stuff,” Miller said.
The catch came with 27 seconds remaining last week when Miller broke open in the end zone and caught a 4-yard pass from quarterback Chris Masson.
Before that reception, Miller had 12 this season and 19 in his three seasons at UL.
Miller’s catch allowed the Cajuns to defeat North Texas 38-34 and improve to 3-2. It was also UL’s first Sun Belt Conference game of the year.
