Obviously you can't un build it. I never "complained" about anything I simply stated my opinion on what I thought of the building, what it looked like to me and you and others attacked me as if I were not allowed to have an opinion.
I too think what's on the inside is great. I also think the side facing the tennis courts has potential. That side will only be seen by people like you and me who already support the university. I simply stated from CD blvd which is the side that 99% of people, who are not supporters, that you are trying to attract, will see looks like a big metal shop.
Just my opinion which I think I am still allowed to have or has Obama taking that freedom away also.
Good landscaping, some softball replacement oaks and a mini swamp where the COX building is/was would enhance the appearance of the Louisiana APC far more than bricks ever could.
First of all it matters not if we have a win over a P5 team since the structure was put up, but we have several. The truth of the matter is NOTHING is needed except a couple of acres of land to practice. Every enhancement DOES matter. When the summer thunderstorms come to Ruston, and you either curtail your practice or curtail the quality of your practice it does not matter? Really does not matter? We have had hundreds of high quality practice sessions in the Moncla center.
You sound like a guy going to the dance with a four and saying eights are over rated, all about themselves.
When you've used up all the fifty yard line seats you go to the end zone, unless you are really big time and rebuild the upper deck like Ellis Who. You first build all the prime suites along the sidelines, and only the end zone when all other geography is used up, glad to know you are in or not in that neighborhood.
Since I am not a bagilzoneaire I do not know if I would be happy in an endzone luxury box, but you know I kind of think no, I want a good view.
It would be far more genuine if YOU admitted that it was in fact a financial decision, like using metal instead of brick, stone, and stucco was a financial decision. We needed all the sf for the student athletes, LTUR decided to give up some to the general student population, and suites. Its all good.
