If Helmut feels that it is not classy and unprofessional on his part, than with my background it would be down right disgraceful. So I will back off and wait like everyone else and hope being an RCAF member they will invite me for the unveiling of the new APC..........

My previous post was in reply to Boomer thinking I had a license to go on any construction site at any time. (which is not the case). I just don't make a practice to use a professional relationship to get any gain other than through a business collaboration. I don't make it a practice to broadcast any of my clients information to anybody that might ask. There is an understood confidentiality between me and my clients. Therefore, I respect the same position of my contacts at the Architect and Lemoine as I do not want to place them in a compromising position.

You don't have the same relationship with any of the folks involved so ask away, if you are so inclined. However, don't be surprised if they say no. It is getting into crunch time and they really do need to concentrate on finishing the project.

If you look at the cam at night you can see the main stair case in the bump out in front of the Cox building. You might have to zoom in to get a good look at it.

Yes, I had noticed that the other night. I think that will be a grand entrance.

Well I took the chance to see if I could gain entrance. I went into the Basketball practice court and through the double doors and found someone with authority to let me in. Taking pictures would have been a disappointment. In that area you have rooms which are storage area. The rest of the building all you can see is metal studded walls. No sheetrock yet. I was told that it would be at least a month before you can see any resemblance of what it will look like. He told me to come back at a later date. My excuse was that we had a lot of local alumni and also out of state and in other countries that are inquiring about it. So he was kind enough to let me see...page two coming.

If it will be mid August before it will bear any resemblance of what it will look like, any idea of a completion date? Our first home game is Sept. 12 vs. NW State, then an open date, then Akron at home on Sept.26. Hopefully, it will be ready by the Akron game. Can they finish this in 10 weeks?

I have been told that the completion date has been pushed back to the end of September due to changes/additions requested by the Athletic Department.

That is what I am curious about: are the changes/additions what caused it to be much bigger than what was in the master plan, are or these changes in addition to THOSE changes? Guess we will have to be more patient....unless Frenchie can get more of the scoop for us.

No, from what I was told it was little PIA things at the end that when added up cause you to bust the critical path.
