This thing looks massive when incorporated with the size of the indoor practice facility. Check out how much progress has been made in 3 short months. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this thing gets done on time.

I don't think lemoine has become the company it has by paying a bunch of penalties, I think it will be done on time as well. As long as they get it enclosed before summer... Weather Shouldnt bother progress much.

Five full months to complete it and it's not like the building NEEDS to be completed before the season begins.

When we send CD's we affix the POR's stamp and "PDF" them straight from Autocad. We typically print and keep a hardcopy set for ourselves for any addenda or revisions and we send the PDF set to the prime (usually architect) on the job. We rarely send a hardcopy set from our office. The prime typically has an electronic set of all CD's, specs, and other required submittals in their office and these are available to the owner and GC. To me, all it would take for UL to acquire a set of the CD's is send an email to Lemoine and/or ASW.

I don't know if we need full-blown 'blue prints', just a simplified floor plan. Like the ones they used in the master plan (#240 post in this thread), or like we had for the Union. Just so we can know what is going where......

---Is it just me or is it time to move the camera to get a better picture of what is going on---Seems like all we will see is the 2 story section in the finishing!!! If we look at the other side it seems that we would get much more as to what is going on there!!! BTW I don't think that the U was finished completely on time--think they still could be doing some work----Now there has to be some give and take I would presume on both sides to both come out happy campers---Man I would love to know what that can be!!!

I agree. You guys don't need to see HVAC or lighting plans. Would probably make your brains hurt. Just saying that we deal almost entirely electronic in our submittal process to an architect. An electronic set of the floor plan is probably on someones computer or network. It would just take a simple email for UL to request it.

Also, I sort of laughed at Dugas' email in post 242, "500 3x6' sheets bound into a 50 pound booklet". I'd think the plans are on 24"x36" or 30"x42" sheets. I've never seen a job printed on anything bigger than that.

I found that amusing also. All the more reason to come to the conclusion that he doesn't know that he doesn't know.

On another note, it looks like they are finished with the framing for the cricket and they placed the concrete for the reminder of the second floor. I would guess that they are going to erect the steel for the main entrance next and finish the steel at the stadium end of the building last.
