----And I would guess many of the E Z eligible will still choose to sit in the good 50 yard seats---Screw this I want to see the game---And that lil doggie is the difference ---Our big hitters will get the amenities plus the prime seat location---And of course our athletes get a much bigger athletic facility!!!! I love our new president as he has to be one of leading presidents of school construction in the nation!!!Back dorms, front dorms, parking garages, new quad, new union (the U), restoration of all buildings, total campus landscaping, bike/walking trails with lights, new end zone seats and rest rooms and concessions, the continued upgrade of the IPF, the new APC, the new soccer/track complex, the paving and upgrade of the athletic area, etc-----and as our AD likes to say---"You ain't seen Nothing yet"---although you guys don't follow baseball, ours will be great---and the Cherry on top will be the second deck complex that will put us at about 50k---Great time to be a Cajun!!!
Serious question... and not trying to be mean.... did you ever play baseball after the age of 10? Because that is when real baseball starts being played.. until you get to the level where you can take a lead, steal, or try to pick someone off, half the kids are in the outfield picking flowers and eating their boogers.
What I have learned is that the majority of people that don't like baseball as adults never really understood the nuances of the game. For instance.. when I am watching a game, and it is my team batting, I put myself into the position of the hitter, trying to figure out what the pitcher is going to throw me (fastball, curve, slider, slurve, changeup, etc)... I also put myself into the position of the manager or coach... do I have the guy take, hit away, bunt, hit and run, steal, etc..
I was in Houston for work on Wednesday and was able to see some good baseball between the Astros and then Angels. The next day I was in Dallas and I was able to catch the Rangers and the Yankees and now I really have a craven for more baseball. I thought about going to the Zephyr's game this weekend in NOLA but not sure I could handle the 100+ temps.
