Since I am not a bagilzoneaire I do not know if I would be happy in an endzone luxury box, but you know I kind of think no, I want a good view.

It would be far more genuine if YOU admitted that it was in fact a financial decision, like using metal instead of brick, stone, and stucco was a financial decision. We needed all the sf for the student athletes, LTUR decided to give up some to the general student population, and suites. Its all good.
----And I would guess many of the E Z eligible will still choose to sit in the good 50 yard seats---Screw this I want to see the game---And that lil doggie is the difference ---Our big hitters will get the amenities plus the prime seat location---And of course our athletes get a much bigger athletic facility!!!! I love our new president as he has to be one of leading presidents of school construction in the nation!!!Back dorms, front dorms, parking garages, new quad, new union (the U), restoration of all buildings, total campus landscaping, bike/walking trails with lights, new end zone seats and rest rooms and concessions, the continued upgrade of the IPF, the new APC, the new soccer/track complex, the paving and upgrade of the athletic area, etc-----and as our AD likes to say---"You ain't seen Nothing yet"---although you guys don't follow baseball, ours will be great---and the Cherry on top will be the second deck complex that will put us at about 50k---Great time to be a Cajun!!!

You have to have a refined palate to enjoy baseball, just like a fine bourbon or scotch. It is obvious to me he does not, probably more of a cheap gin or Schaffer Light drinker.

Agreed. I love football, but when good baseball is being played there is no other sport in the world like it. I get anxiety just thinking about it (which is what makes it so great)...The entire game can change with one swing of the bat.

Serious question... and not trying to be mean.... did you ever play baseball after the age of 10? Because that is when real baseball starts being played.. until you get to the level where you can take a lead, steal, or try to pick someone off, half the kids are in the outfield picking flowers and eating their boogers.

What I have learned is that the majority of people that don't like baseball as adults never really understood the nuances of the game. For instance.. when I am watching a game, and it is my team batting, I put myself into the position of the hitter, trying to figure out what the pitcher is going to throw me (fastball, curve, slider, slurve, changeup, etc)... I also put myself into the position of the manager or coach... do I have the guy take, hit away, bunt, hit and run, steal, etc..

Damn BlueBallz...your boy had to come to your rescue. This list doesn't make me believe it's a growing trend in the world of college football, but it's not a bad list.

We have lots of posers come to this board, and they often are just offering an honest opinion. Yea sure.
If being a 3 sport season ticket holder, RCAF member, and TG spot holder every year since mid 90s is what you call a "poser" then I am definitely guilty as charged.

I was in Houston for work on Wednesday and was able to see some good baseball between the Astros and then Angels. The next day I was in Dallas and I was able to catch the Rangers and the Yankees and now I really have a craven for more baseball. I thought about going to the Zephyr's game this weekend in NOLA but not sure I could handle the 100+ temps.

Yes into Highschool (1st Base)....I didn't say it wasn't fun to play but it's just not the most exciting sport to watch...And yes I completely understand the game, but apparently I'm not as "enlightened" as you on the magnificence that is baseball.... Lol!
No, Baseball to me is more of an individual sport. I don't expect you (or anyone else in here) to agree with me but to each his own. Even if I had attended the school in Refineryville or UL, I'd feel the same. There are just about 20 other things I'd rather do with my time....and yes, in my opinion Soccer is more exciting to watch & play.

But the problem is you didn't just post your opinion that you didn't like the style of the APC, as is was in the category of a flame of a post; so then don't play the victim when people respond critically to it.

You have the right to say whatever you want, but then you also have the responsibility to deal with the outcome of what you have said. Your 'rights' were not, and are not in jeopardy.

Don't get your blue tarp panties in a twist.... I didn't say that EVERYONE that found it boring didn't understand the game.. I said the majority of people that find it boring don't understand it.
