What about the renovations to the cajundome? I haven't heard anything about this in a while.....does anyone know if is still on board for this year?

I saw some prints being made at the print shop not too long ago. Looked like some kind of presentation for approval. Don't know what it was for, or why they were doing it. I just saw them. What needs to be done at the Cajun Dome? Haven't been there for years.

Well, it is over 30 years old, and the bleachers are original, and need to be replaced.....I think they are going to add seats behind the goals and otherwise improve them overall. Plus a lot of other refurbishments, etc.

I know people love them, but I wouldn't be upset if the Icegators would fold/find another venue. I'd imagine not having to worry about ice or setting up a rink would free them up a bit in terms of what renovations and updates they could make.

Camera back up sometime yesterday afternoon. They are progressing with the steel erection and closing in of the wing adjacent to the IPF. But have not started on the wing next to the Cox building.
