I don't remember exact number but it was around 150K or maybe a little more.

Student section is a mixture of students and friends and young alumni.

I am alumni and I like sitting on the student side. I like the vibe and a lot of the guys like the fact I'm passionate and help get the students fired up.

Some of the students friends get escort tickets and they are not students. I don't think you want to start dividing it all up. You would be surprised how many non-students were at the game last night in the student section.

At least we showed up! If you want we can all stay in the parking lot too! _

I'm sure the students at LSU get 25,000 50 yard line seats. NO university does that, except UL. We need to generate more revenue. Sell chair back 50 yard line seats. The students are not infringed on because they have a designated section. Unless/until UL starts to act like a 1A program, we will continue with this mediocre attendance and low budget and continue to be viewed that way by the general public. We are our own worst enemy.

I agree. If students don't want to go than make the section chairbacks and draw the extra revenue on them.
