    UL Football UFL

It was pretty cool to wacth it. Other than the color of the uniforms it was fast past 11 on 11 football. It may work out 14000 plus fans in the stands it looks better than you think. Once the league start to grow you will see new sponsors new teams and new tv station to play on. from my point of veiw I think the NFL wanted to see the product before they buy into the league & call them the minor league to the NFL. One game in the books for the UFL we will see how everything plays out you never know whats going to happen with the UFL

It was on Cox digital channel 105. I thought it was pitiful. Lack of effort on many of the linemen. Las Vegas' backs looked pretty good though.

Don't think this league will be around next year.

I use to watch it all the time. I use to watch hockey games on it. Glad I'm leaving DirecTV for Uverse.

    Horrible uniforms.

    Average, at best, football.

Terrible crowds (more people were at Northside-Teurlings game tonight).

That's a recipe for failure. And as my exhibit A, I give you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XFL

Didn't most of you said that the Arena team was going to be one & done? For the first game it was ok not great but ok. Just think about this most of these guys never played football in a while of course you will be rusty I wouldn't expect them not to be. Yeah they uniforms are to bright but next year they will be changing. But I can tell you this if it works then you will see alot of NFL owners buying Franchies. For ex: Say that Jerry Jones buys a UFL team where would he put it? In San Antonio no Pro Football team there. Trust me on this one. This is a wait & see game if its good you will see them buying into it. The Arena League folded. NFLE folded because they are not big American Football Fans out there. Its all about the money and if they see that it can make money then you will see alot owners buying into the league.

Um, the Mudbugs were one and done. The Wildcatters are a completely different team under new ownership with new uniforms and most likely new players.

Also, if there were 14,000 people at that game, most of them were dressed as empty seats. I was obviously being facetious when I said more people went to the Teurlings-Northside game. People who attended the game are saying no more than 10K were at the game, if that. For a professional football team making its debut in a city that has been craving pro football, that's horrible.
