It's odd to me to see someone who has already been ruled out to not only dress, but play extensive minutes. I can see him as being listed as questionable with a 50-50 chance of playing or something like that. Colin Windsor was listed as probable weeks ago and a blog stated that he was good to go to play. He hasn't even dressed since that moment. You go from almost certainly playing to out for weeks to come. It's just the variation in the status reporting that leaves me scratching my head. _
I understand your point. Josh probably knows whether our reporting is in line or out of line with other schools. I also find it odd that players have gone from "out" to on the field in a day. We think of it in terms of medical information only... I think it has a lot more to do with what a kid says and is willing to prove. There is no way you can play effectively ahead of a healthly athlete, with certain injuries. But other injuries may hurt like hell but can be played through. That creates a lot of subjectivity with the athlete.
