I wish they would at least offer this information accurately through pay services or on cajunredzone in the premium folder. That is what a lot of the other schools do on their scout forums. They have premium services for which nobody can enter but members and they report this type of stuff. _
Wasn't such a service the excuse aTm used to fire Dennis Fran?

Dennis pocketed money that came from that insider newsletter.

I think it's easy to have a guy with a broken leg and tag him "out"... but some of these injuries can traverse a wide status change day to day. I'm thinking that regardless of how well and how frequently injury statuses get updated... they are still subject to change come Saturday morning.

I used to get a call after a hangover and someone would say "hey, can you make it over for a few beers and some grub?" It all depended on when you called me as to whether I was in condition to "compete" again... and your guess was as good as mine. Some alcohol injuries are severe and require hours, up to a day sometimes, of recuperation. Occasionally, I would surprise myself and bounce back immediately and it was like I was never injured. Yes, I know sports medicine. I'm a afalete.

Again, the point is simple. I'm only questioning the level of fluctuation from such wide ranges of the injury status report. I keep referring to LaQuincy Williams. He was officially listed as OUT a day before the LSU game. He played extensive minutes for that game. It's odd to me to see someone who has already been ruled out to not only dress, but play extensive minutes. I can see him as being listed as questionable with a 50-50 chance of playing or something like that. Colin Windsor was listed as probable weeks ago and a blog stated that he was good to go to play. He hasn't even dressed since that moment. You go from almost certainly playing to out for weeks to come. It's just the variation in the status reporting that leaves me scratching my head.

Actually, LaQuincy was listed as doubtful for the LSU game with an Achilles injury. Chris Richard is doubtful this week with a bum ankle but will play, per Bustle. That was on a Wednesday - three days before the game.

And I fully agree. It's an incredibly frustrating process.

Just found out that I was just added to the injury report as probable for tomorrow.

I understand your point. Josh probably knows whether our reporting is in line or out of line with other schools. I also find it odd that players have gone from "out" to on the field in a day. We think of it in terms of medical information only... I think it has a lot more to do with what a kid says and is willing to prove. There is no way you can play effectively ahead of a healthly athlete, with certain injuries. But other injuries may hurt like hell but can be played through. That creates a lot of subjectivity with the athlete.
