It might be time for Sun Belt Conference-affiliated bowls to mix things up.

So Sun Belt commissioner Karl Benson seemed to suggest in an interview with al.com's Tommy Hicks prior to Sunday night's GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile.

Among several questions, Hicks asked the commissioner if he'd "like to see more variety in the future."
