I don't think so, you can bet all these new coaches will be HUD approved. They may be some of willis' colleagues but HUD will make the decision. HUD let go of 1 coach, he didn't clean house. I think this is HUD standing behind willis by retaining him.

It doesn't matter what the guys we bring in run. Willis is still the DC and Hud is still HC. Whatever they run is what will be run.

Willis' D was not very good before the consultant. I hope he improves and retaining him turns out to be the right move. If the D is what it was first 4 games we will be right back in the same boat next year at this time.

If our offense plays the way it did we will be in the same boat. We just weren't a very good team the first 4 games. We changed a lot of personnel from those games also. Somebody changed their mind about something the last 6 quarters of the year...is that HUD or willis? Probably never know... But to think this is some kind of message from HUD about willis future job security is a stretch. HUD let go of exactly 1 coach, the others left on their own for reasons out of hud's control.
