It's a dying/nearly dead position. But he should get in any way he can. That said, not to sound cruel or negative about him, because I love the guy, but his NFL prospects beyond a camp tryout are slim. At least in my opinion. Hope I'm very wrong. crazycajun is very correct, though, in that special teams will be a big factor in making a roster.

Deuce Mcallister had VERY GOOD speed for a running back out of college. 4.41 in the 40.

Jamaal Charles, who has homerun-hitting speed, was 4.38.

McAllister bulked up once he lost speed due to age, but in his prime, he was pretty damn fast.

And so does Zo, all I said was deuce wasn't a track star. Deuce was good because of his vision and patience with his blockers. He didn't look fast because he was so big, Zo isnt slow he just doesn't look fast because he is so big. However because of their size, they don't have to outrun everyone...fenroy wasn't running away from or over anyone in the nfl.

Yeah Deuce was a different back before his knee injuries. He was a threat to take it the distance on every play.
