Don't know why you had him on. Half the kids on his board don't even exist according to rivals & scout.

Did that have something to do with the Cajuns?

I've known Max Ensfinger for sometime, thought was great to have him on to talk about the game. He talked about most of the local kids, gave a shout to some kid named Josh Brister too. I'm sure you don't have a problem with that?

It has something to do with getting good information out to the public as well as potential recruiters about loacal standout football players. But what the hell do I know. I thought scouting sites were about making sure good football players got a chance to get publicized & looked at by all potential colleges. Because that's what many college staffs use to look at kids. I didn't realize they were just publicity pipelines certain schools use to pump up players they are going after simply to whet the whistle of their support groups. And now you know the secret to why LSU will not be bowl elligible next season.

LSU will be bowl eligible next year. Like many BCS powers they will have 3 rent a win games against teams which they have exponentially more resources than. That means they only have to win three of their nine games against true competition.

You make a good point Mike as always. I'll be sure to use that as a major point of emphasis when I explain just how far their program has fallen because they ignored recruiting & raising their own crop of linemen from puppies up. It's a simple law of physics. Too many people fishing from the same pond dries up the pond. Too many people going after JUCO players means there just simply aren't enough to go around. When every single elligible player from your football program is signing full ride LOIs the first morning of early signing day. It tells me all I need to know about where to send my son. Because the division1 programs have become derilict in their duty to follow, study, recruit, & raise their own talent.

Now they are almost all depending on recruiting sites. But the recruiting sites are all depending on them instead of doing their own work. It's a house of cards. & the bigger the house, the greater the implosion. The fact is that UL had probably the best offensive line & defensive line camp in the country a year ago. They had some of the finest linemen in the whole United States come in & they signed eight linemen. Then they had another one walk on. Then they got my number one rated lineman in this state from Plaquemine High this year. LSU got nothing. They went the JUCO route into California where agian every single player on every single roster is being picked clean by the D-1 schools. I don't see why these so called recruiting budgets even need to exist with the laziness of the D-1 coaches out there.

They don't get off their high horses & go anywhere anymore. They simply sit inside their castle walls & depend on their little network of informants to come to them. What happens when that network of informants gets fat & sassy? All of a sudden the wheels come off. And what makes the train wreck at LSU even more comical is that everybody, & I mean everybody is saying the exact same things while the chasis is breaking to pieces underneath the cars. Oh it's impossible. It can't happen there. They are on auto-pilot. I assure it can happen there. And it will happen there, just as easily as it can happen here. And if we begin to get overly satisfied with the accomplishements of this program so far. We will then be not far behind.

Anyone who thinks I'm out of my head, please refer to the university of Michigan with it's 100thousand plus thousand followers. How about Nebraska, or Miami? From dust thou were made & unto dust thou shalt return. What you do in between is what everyone remembers.

Nice post! I agree, if your coaches are worth their pay and then some, they will do at least 2 things. One go out and recruit HS kids then 2) mold them into College Men that know how to play the game of Football!
