I have been out of town all week and saw that Mac Barousse resigned. Read the article in the DA, but it appears vague. Mac's a good guy and good coach, does anyone know what's going on north of upper Lafayette?

Heard it was because of a lot of inner problems between him and the principal but that is only rumor.

this may be true about him being a good guy. but he never seemed to be a fan of ours. not in words for sure.

During the "glory" years, Barouse did what he pleased at Carencro, much to the detriment
of other sports and activities at the school. The principle was weak and content to bask in the reflected glory. When the current principle came on board much of that changed.
During his first sabatical, the landscape drasticaly changed, owing largely to tightened
zoning enforcement that made raiding other school's players more difficult. His recent actions reflect what he's always been, an egotistical narcissist much more interested in
attracting attention to himself than the good of his school, program or players

Scroll a little ways down to "supatigah" and this allegedly is someone close to the Carencro football team. I think somewhere in the thread it is suggested it is Wade Ritchey.

This is kind of consistent with some things I have heard around town.
