I stand by those comments for two reasons. First, the CST deal hinges upon finding a solution to the contractual obligation to ESPN and not a matter of politics. So no email campaign can resolve that matter. A top college Sports Service was brought in to help resolve that matter in a consultant role, something I applauded. Second, the consultant was a necessary move because of several poor decisions made at the top concerning the television rights of UL Athletics.
Of course, that is something you are not going to hear at any RCAF meeting.
