Ouch! Not bad if you have a group over but it will be one of the many restaurants that have it on for me

Heard back from those guys. He says they usually have a big crowd (300+), and they're not the only watching party, so get there early. Also, there will be a fee to cover their costs. If I don't end up getting the game at my house, I'm going to try to make it.

    Mandy.....the game is on channel 787 !

On Direct TV, channels 785 and 787 are there, it just mentions "to be announced".

The game will be loaded on 787 soon, if not already.

If you go to the Direct TV website and enter 787 into the search bar at the top, you get the following:

College Football - Pay Per View Games
Select college football games are available on a pay per view basis. These pay per view games are offered by the rights holders and not affiliated with ESPN GamePlan. Availability is limited to areas where the games are blacked out. You can order these pay per view events on game days using your remote or by calling us at (800) 531-5000. (a $5.00 fee will apply for phone orders).

The following pay per view games are available for September 26:

Ohio vs. Tennessee 7:00 PM ET - Channel 786 - $29.95 (available in Tennessee only)

    Nebraska vs. Louisiana Lafayette 7:00 PM ET - Channel 787 - $29.95

According to Huskers.com, this is available nationally, so we should not have any blackouts.

Just ordered it. Well worth $29.95... not only to watch the game, but to encourage Cox to pick up more games in the future.

    LUS fiber fans? ouch!

I have all the digital expanded channels there are. I called Cox and they ordered it for me. I do not show a 150 on my tv and they said it should show up Friday or Saturday. They said I had the plan to get it.

So, why wouldn't one of the 3 Ragin Cajun restaurants here in Houston pay for the game? Chris or Adam, can you find out?

It costs a lot for commercial businesses to pickup PPV games. The Nebraska group is watching it at SRO because they have a special agreement to watch all of their games (PPV or not) there, and SRO knows that if they shell out the $400 for the game, they will get reimbursed. This is a relationship that we plan to establish with a venue in the near future.

OK, thanks. Now, let's ALL UL fans show up at the SRO on Saturday around 5:30. Nebraska will have a big crowd there, so let's make a good showing of support and beat the Cornhuskers.
