Why don't we do like LTU R and many others. Get a one year wonder from a p5 school who graduated and is no longer wanted
His footwork was poor not his flexibility. I respectfully disagree with your weight room belief.
Same nonsense that kept baseball players small. Now the best are massive Greek gods.
Paul Dietzel, Billy Cannon, and Alvin Roy killed that thinking. Cannon heavy work on weights broke world record in the hundred yard dash.
The muscle bound stereotype has been dead for most of the last fifty years.
Even though Brian lifted heavy at USL, when he got drafted as a RB, he was 3rd on the Redskins QB depth chart. One Monday Night Football game, after both starters went down with injury, and looked like crap, Brian took over in the second half as QB. He marched down the field on his first series, with his arm, and scored a TD. Dandy Don was saying, "Hey, Washington may have a new QB.".
After the game, they interviewed Brian and asked if he was going to play QB... he said something like, "No, I'm a RB. I bulked up to play RB, and can't really play QB anymore.". And if you looked at his biceps, he was right. There is weight training that clearly isn't good for QB throwing motion. But, since Brian was such an incredibly unique athlete at USL, he got by with lifting heavy. He was the most powerfully built QB you're ever going to see. I've not ever again, even with the craze with weights, seen a QB anywhere close to his build.
PS I have no opinion on Terrance and weights.
