The delivery looks a lot slower when he's got 3 defensive players barreling on him just after he receives the snap.

I still think that the CB position will be a bigger question than many will want to admit but we've been weak there for a long time, even with potential pros in the lineup.
If this is the case, and I agree it is, that is a coaching problem, not a personnel problem.

The delivery is slow by any measure. Put a stopwatch on it. 2.5 to 3 seconds is all he should need. He almost always got at least that.

Give it a rest. He's no longer on the team. No need to bash him anymore.

In 2012, only 5 NFL QB's started their throwing motion on average in less than 2.5 seconds. Peyton Manning was the only one to complete throws on average in less than 2.5 seconds.

Also, I'll give you Baylor's offense and I like TCU's as well but they have a heavy option threat there as well. Boykin's rushing numbers were very similar to Broadway's numbers this year with over 600 yards rushing and 8 TD's or so. That's anything but a pass heavy offense.
Boykin was 279-461 for 3714 yards and 30 TDs with 7 interceptions.
Petty was 234-377 for 3305 yards and 26 TDs with 6 interceptions.

    Broadway in 2012, 2013 & 2014
    2014: 216-342 for 2295 yards 13 TDs and 9 interceptions
    2013: 166-266 for 2419 yards 19 TDs and 12 interceptions
    2012: 206-315 for 2842 yards 17 TDs and 9 interceptions

    Gautier
    2011: 216-344 for 2958 yards 23 TDs and 6 interceptions

Boykins numbers are outrageous, but I wouldn't say it is a heavy read option offense. It is a true spread option offense. Look at his passing numbers.

Same with Bryce Petty, Baylor has led the Big 12 in rushing over the last 3 seasons, yet they are a wide open passing offense. You know it is possible to do both very well. We have just been so use to being good at running the ball that we abandon the passing game.

Also I am not bashing Broadway before anyone makes those claims. I am talking about the play calling. Now with TBs limitations there were plays we wouldn't run that both Baylor and TCU do run because Petty and Boykin throw great deep balls.

Imo we have the personnel to run that type of offense. Our OL is very talented and if asked to pass block they are good enough to do that.

Since when has stating obvious limitations of a player bashing said player? TB has a slow delivery and bad footwork in the pocket. On the run he is much more fluid and a better QB. He was very smart on the field and led us to a lot of wins. But stating his limitations is not bashing him.

If it is, you bash Haack everyday by stating that he can't run as well as Broadway.

I've never said anything more than Haack not being proven yet. Good try though.

I am using you as in general. The argument against Haack is he can't run like TB, people defend that as not bashing him just stating facts. TB can't throw like he did in 2012 or 2013, yet that is bashing him if you state it.

It is simple, stating physical limitations is now bashing a player according to you.

Completely disregarding that any other player was responsible for Broadway being rushed and then throwing out a stat that most NFL QB's can't accomplish is bashing a player. I was OK with the original comment, but then when zephyr gave a legitimate response, VOB went straight to throwing out whatever he could to prove that he was right and zephyr was wrong. That, my friend, is bashing.

Does Brett Farve have any eligibility left? I saw him throw a ball to his dog during a bowl game with a copper sleeve on his knee...he can still sling it.
