    Default UL Deseg. Thurgood Marshall

For those of you who have been reading the serialization of the chapter on UL's desegregation, and the pioneering role the University played in the South, I have another article up.

Last week we accidentally skipped Part III, so that's up today. For those of you who weren't aware, one of the attorneys who represented the plaintiffs in the deseg case was eventual Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

    Interesting piece of UL history.

You had no pioneering role in desegration. You were sued because you wouldn't admit blacks then the court tells you to let them in. They forced you to take blacks in. To be a pioneer you would have had to let them in with no one telling you that you had too. Typical UL///Laf logic trying to make yourself looking classier than you really are. This is why no one wants you to be called the University of Louisiana we embarrass ourselves enough we don't need anymore help.
