We had a 1st round draft pick last year take over, along with Shawn Long and we made a run to the NCAAs. That was big, but I credit that to Peyton.

My view on Marlin are well known.

Two non scholarship teams to get ready for a pretty good NW State team. Not how I would schedule.

Jessie Evans was 132-81.
Robert Lee was 80-100.
Bob Marlin is 72-67.

So I would say that if you think barely over .500 ball is good enough then you got your wish. Marlin is playing against much weaker competition than any of the previous three coaches did.

Coach I am done with the Bob Marlin experiment. I have seen enough underachieving since he has been here to know he is not the guy. I don't want to hear about this team needs gel or build chemistry. We have not lost to a team that is more talented than the Cajuns this season.

It is clear to me that Marlin is just not the guy.

72-67, enough said. How many of those wins came against non D1 competition? If you count only D1 programs Marlin has a losing record. Y'all can worship him if you want, but the man isn't getting it done here.

I went back and looked at it, he is 9-1 against non D1 programs. So his record against D1 programs is 63-66. Man he is a great coach.

Well I tend to think he had something to do with all that EP stuff..
But no, you can't argue with 63-66 in this conference and playing this OOC schedule.

That is exactly my point. He will have coached 2 NBA talents. Yet his record is 63-66, seriously, that's garbage.

And in half the games, ole Bob has just as many NCAA trips. IMO, that's all that matters.
