No to "UL Lafayette" for sportscasters and sporting events.
It only leads to one thing. "Lafayette"
This was a huge, huge victory. Nevada is a quality football team that came within 5 points of defeating Boise ST, within a touchdown of defeating Arizona,(who defeated Oregon), and defeated both Washington ST. and BYU. UL now has 4 nine win seasons in a row, 4 Bowl wins in a row. We advertised ourselves quite well with this victory.....Thank you to Coach Hud, your Staff and of course, our boys.......who played a wonderful game. Well done.
Congrats again on a great victory yesterday. Was hoping for an aerial battle but at least your D came to play.
You need to blame your jackass SID for the name controversy....he's the one that tried to pick a fight with ESPN & it didn't help when he kept on referring to them as "Bristol". That was a bush league move. It's quite obvious what ESPN was doing though...they used 2 different graphics yesterday...your logo & Laffy Leophards.
Hola Nevada, en las palabras de su idioma nativo, teníamos el número desde el Vamos, así que vive con él...
Louisiana is NevaDa loser in the NOLA Bowl.
For those of you who have seen and heard the game at all, please give me examples of the Lafayette Leopards logo being used instead of our logo, examples of them saying something other than "UL Lafayette," "Louisiana-Lafayette" or "ULL," and other examples of random identification. I need specifics, time and quarter, the person saying it, any other information you observed. This is important and time is of the essence, so please place this information in this thread or the other thread I'm going to put this in, or send me a private message. Thank you.
