N.O. Bowl still the bowl for Louisiana
Could it really be?
It just doesn’t seem that long ago that I was interviewing members of the 1970 UL Ragin’ Cajuns football team that lost to Tennessee State in the Grantland Rice Bowl.
At the time, the Cajuns were returning to a bowl for the first time in 41 years, and those guys were suddenly a big part of this new treasure map that led UL to the pot of gold with the thrilling win over San Diego State in 2011.
