Im pretty excited to get to tailgate with some of your fans as in the past it always turns out to be a good time with good food and good people. Watched ya'lls game with LSU rough but I'm excited for you guys to come in and test our young team. As you all may know we just had a close one with VT and lost by one. rough...I guess if a football game was 58 mins we would have one. Mental mistakes cost us on that one. Anyway I would love to hear who you guys have, who to watch, and any friendly predictions. _

I have a favor to ask. Does Nebraska have a Houston Alumni Chapter and game watching sports bar in Houston where all NU games are shown? Looking for a place to view the game.

funny I always thought Richard Simmons grew up in New Orleans, are we part of New Orleans to these idiots, do they even know what school they are supposed to be playing, or do they just not care enough to research anything. They obviously did no research on UL football or they would have come to slightly different conclusions

    Google says:

After starting college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, he transferred to Florida State University.
So, maybe a little truth to his statement. From the looks of the goof-ball that was running his mouth, I looks like he need to get to know R. Simmons personally.

Sadly i dont think this is a game we can win but i just hope we get out of it without any major injuries and keep playing well. Just like in the LSU game the chance of winning is extremely slim , but we can still play well and keep improving getting ready for sunbelt play to start.

Looks like these "journalists" got a head start on preparing for Mizzou. The LSU game was on TV. It wouldn't have taken much effort to prepare a little bit. Funny that they think we are run first, and, despite the 2-1 start, we are devastated by the loss of last year's stars on offense. They are going to sound stupid when they interview Pelini. I'm confident that he has been watching film. The question is, how much info does Pelini get from LSU? Did they part with a kiss or a slap?

Your extremely right, and for all the other guys on here thinking Pelini and the gang are looking on to mizzouri, forget about it. He won't allow it. Heres his tuesday thoughts on UL - On the Ragin' Cajuns: "I'm fairly familiar with their personnel from being down there. They're a pretty talented football team and have a lot of athleticism.""Well coached, saw what they did two weeks ago and a pretty good football team with alot of speed" "They bring alot of folks on D and they are pretty aggressive" Theres no chance this guy is not thinking of you guys he a no nonsense one game at a time coach and he will have our guys ready. As for the douchers over at journal star don't read into them to much they don't know what they are talking about. I wish you could read some of our on campus pregame reports, they are so much more informed with interviews from players and coaches instead of speculation of the world herald and journal star. I think you will see a huge fire lit under our safteys butts this week as well, expect a few intereceptions and big hits. as for the guy who was wondering about the houston watch site, here ya go buddy,

Have you thought about going into PR? You seem to really talk it up well. I can't wait to arrive in Lincoln, Nebraska (That is something that I never thought I would ever say.) My family plans to head there on Thursday. The Omaha Zoo has been recommended to anyone that is interested in animals...not just Animal House. What do you think we can expect for weather? The reports from here are saying high in the 70's with rain - not thunderstorms. Sounds like perfect football weather to me.

If Chris uses ladarius like he did early in that state game, and we can get another back to step up and give us a change of pace, we will suprise the hell out of those folks. Defense will show up, special teams will be fine.. I'm excited, but i'll say this.. Nebraska may not be faster than state, but they are better coached and a better all around team. We'll get a second chance to make a splash. Is it televised in texas? ATX, have any ideas? I'll be there this weekend.

I watched both videos, and I completely agree with those guys. They are geniuses! Yep, we totally suck. In fact, I don't think Nebraska needs to worry about us at all. Nope.

Just go ahead and start warming up the hot tub for your off week. Just look ahead, Nebraska. Look ahead. Nothing to see here. Nothing at all.

I love SRO in Houston!!! If I had the $$$ I would buy the place and expand the chain to Lafayette and Baton Rouge for sure.

Computer engineering for me but PR is something I have always loved, it really doesn't take much. Im just a down to earth Kansas boy who loves his husker football and hates the missouri tigers. but then again don't we all hate tigers on this board? As for the Omaha Zoo if you have young kids or even just like a great zoo that is definately a stop. Omaha isn't to far away. The weather yeah its been rainy and 70's here during the day gets down to about 50 at night so make sure you southern folks bring some sweaters or you'll be forced to buy nebraska ones as thats about all we sell up here. Theres also a phone museum up here lol kind of weird and I honestly have never actually went but if you like history is definately a place to go. If you like a good brew I personally love Lazlos Brewery and Grill (710 P St Lincoln, NE 68508) Amazing service and good people. The food I find just as good. Another good place I like to eat which is unique it's called The Oven (201 N 8th St Ste 117 Lincoln, NE 68508) it's an Indian resturant and the food i find pretty good, love it there. If you need a good coffee which I am actually currently sitting here drinking at this coffee shop so I figure I should give them some love The Coffee House (1324 P St Lincoln, NE 68508) If you don't like this place I will send you a reimbursment check thats how money it is. Great before classes and even better for a pickme-up before a saturday gameday, tailgating starts early you know. Those are just a few of my personal favorites but again there is soooo many good places to eat.
