Hud needs to heavily recruit Ja'cirey Lindzer (RB @ AES) and Calais (RB @ Cecilia). Those boys are some studs!!!
Let's stick to that facts junior! You made a statement that is not close to the truth. I gave you names of the offers this season thus far, you still sticking to your original statement?

"Hud's theory (which doesn't work) is that he does not offer scholarships to local kids."

A lot of posters on ragin' Pagin get excited and like to brag when they get recruiting news before others because they paid for it. But, if the information that they are paying for is just B.S. hype straight out of the athletic department is it really even recruiting news or marketing material?

Gabe is my favorite reciever on this team but if Hud did not realize over the last 4 seasons we desperately need help in the secondary he is lost.
No one has forced feed you anything, you can chose to believe what is written or simply do your own evaluation. What athletes pan out once they get on campus depends upon a number of factors, including putting them in the right position to succeed. You mentioned Fuselier is your favorite, you do realize he picked up offers from SMU and Louisiana Tech? Are you saying he couldn't succeed in their systems because he was over hyped?

I'm pretty certain you are younger then me, but I've been watching Cajun football since 1975 and have been a season ticket holder as an adult since 1989. There have been a number of talented athletes that have played in this program, yet this staff is the only one to bring in enough to win four bowl games and actually play in one. In your live time you had never seen a bowl team at UL until this staff hit campus and you are going to tell me how myself and others are over hyping recruiting? Take your head out your ___ son, because you have never seen enough talent at UL during any stretch of its history to get to and win four consecutive bowl games.

I won't pretend that this staff has been perfect or has not made mistakes. Every staff has done so since 1970 or you would see more bowl banners hanging around the UL campus today. The bottom line is you have witnessed the greatest stretch of football in the history of this university under Mark Hudspeth. I won't say it has been a stretch without flaws or its ups and downs, but when someone lectures me about the lack of talent in this program right now and doesn't have the history to fall back to put things in context, I tend to give their statements about what someone else is selling very little credibility.

Hud must have listened to me cause i saw he offered Raymond Calais today. It only took the kid 2,000 yds to get an offer.
My banana pudding is pretty solid son. I will even throw in some Nilla Waffers for you.

Did you no they were considering that offer now for a month and he had flown out and watched him play twice over that time?

    It's "know" not "no"

The kid is from Cecilia, you don't need to fly there. It's a 20 minute drive from Lafayette.
You shouldn't have to consider an offer for a month on a kid that good. That type of procrastination is probably the reason our secondary is atrocious.

Yep, because he is loaded with FBS offers right? He flew in the helicopter around the area like he has done every year since he came in. But wait, isn't that another offer for a local athlete? Yet another example of why your statement was BS. Thanks for the correction!

Yes and some are very good----the problem has been their getting in school and being eligible--girlfriends, grades, homesick, discipline, etc----attrition to all the above reason has cost us greatly---Now this happens according to a recent topic at all schools and a sure thing---but have to give Cajun-T a lil shout out as we can follow the recruits with their leanings from the get go to the signing party in February---Its not BS hype as the ratings are nationally done so you can tell for the most part their stars---please lets not get into the star war deal!!!! lol
