BATON ROUGE — A sold-out crowd of 92,443 packed Tiger Stadium on Saturday night for the 22nd overall meeting between UL and No. 9 LSU and the first since 2006.
The Ragin' Cajuns scored three points in the first half on Tyler Albrecht's 40-yard field goal in the second quarter and trailed 17-3 at the half.
Those three points equaled the team's point total scored in the previous 10 meetings in the series, which was played from 1902-38 before resuming in 2002 and '06.
