I was pleased with the effort the Cajuns put out against an outmanned opponent. At times, guys just go through the motion in such games as practice is more difficult than these contests. Still, I love seeing walkons like Aaron Leblance and Donovan Williiams get several minutes. If this game is the one that sparks Xavian Rimmer and Heyward Register with their shot, we will have gotten something out of it. Heyward hit 4 threes today while Xavian hit 5 in a row late. Defense in first half did not allow Centenary to have much of a chance to even get off a shot or get across half court at times. Wednesday's game against Milligan College (a non D1 school again) may be a better test as they are athletic according to Coach Marlin and they have one guy who could play on a lot of D1 teams.
