Thread: Ticket sales?

I share Saints season tickets with someone else in Section 111. Those seats sell for $200.00 per seat, per game or $2000.00 per season ticket. Therefore, I would say that $45.00 per ticket for the NOLA Bowl is fairly reasonable!

Is that the ticket face value or the season ticket pricing?

The company I'm with has 8 Saints season tickets in Section 114. They cost around $25k/season. That's close to $400 a ticket. Anyone sitting in the bunker club sections (113, 114, 115) at $65/ticket for our bowl, should be a very happy camper.

Plaza level is tricky regarding ticket pricing. Sections 113, 114 & 115 are the Bunker Club and those are considered premium seats. UL sold those seats for $65 each (Saints sell those season tickets $3050 a seat). Right next to the Bunker club are sections 112 & 116 (also plaza level) and UL sold those for $45 (Saints sell those season tickets for $2000 a seat). Some people think the lower the better, but that is not necessarily true and you can tell by the way Saints price their season tickets. Your tickets in Section 314, the Saints sell for $3050 a seat. I personally request not to sit in the plaza level (100 levels), the view is much better in the loge level (200 & 300 levels).

I have a hard time believing your friend is on the 40 in the bunker club and not in RCAF. Those seats were supposed to be only RCAF members that were awarded the premium $65 tickets. I would suggest you ask your friend what section he is in and/or how much he was charged. That will give you a better idea what is really going on.

He's in Section 115, saw the tickets today. The tickets were marked $40 just like mine in the Club section.

The last year I sat in plaza was for the ECU game. I was in 309 last year, 314 this year.

I honestly have no logical response for why that would happen. The RCAF is to question on that issue.

$200 is the face value of each ticket per game and the season ticket price of $2000 per seat for a season ticket (10 games).

Thanks. My brother in law has tickets and for some reason I thought he told me he didn't pay face value for the season tickets. Maybe I was mistaken.

Lowest attended bowl was 20,000 last year. The year before us they had 29,000 paid attendance for Ohio vs Troy

Nah, me taking a year off of attending one game, for personal reasons, does not mean the sky is falling. It just means I took a year off. For personal reasons.

Listing your A, B, C, D gave the impression that you just don't care and that is something to be concerned about. If you have personal reasons for not going, that's one thing, but to say "I don't feel like..." after only 3 years of success does not bode well for where we want to be. I know several people that are saying the same thing. Ask TxSt fans if they feel like dealing with the cluster that is New Orleans. I am not doubting your support or fanhood, just adding that I share the same concern as duggie.

Fair enough. But I think we have bigger problems than a slight or even a significant dip in our Bowl attendance. I would love to see the demand we've had in past years for the Bowl at our usual regular season home games.

But putting all that aside, I am hoping our team can put on a good show for ESPN.

I think what you see this year will be more in line with what our true demand and expectations can be set at. The previous bowls were attended by "party" fans more than Cajun fans. I know several people who have never gone to a home game that attended the bowl games.
