Well then people need to stop talking about having the Nola bowl in our pocket because after this year we won't. Let's go independent and sign a contract with the Nola bowl.... Yeah right, if we are at 10k right now... We will be lucky to hit hit 30k total attendance. If there is anything going on with us and cusa... We will least impress when we need it most. If we sell 10k tickets that will be the 4 largest # of tickets sold ( or fans brought) by a team in no bowl history. I hope we sell much more than that but that would still make UL very desirable for the bowl.

When I look in the mirror, I see me. I do not see all of these people that didn't show up. How is "the fan base" responsible for "the fan base"... exactly?

There will be pleanty of ul.fans. all of the promo tickets will be ul fans for this game and there are tons of those corporate type tickets for this bowl

Fans are getting smarter. There will be plenty of tickets available when Nevada sends their allotment back. Then all those ticket brokers who snatched up endzone seats will have to discount there tickets or else eat their losses. The other casual fans can then pick their seats from ticketmaster like they are used to. There still be a lot of fans out there. I'll be out there tailgating with my Bloody Mary. Come get some.

No kidding. There will be a very long list of teams this year and every year wishing they could approach the 10K mark. Were good and I'll see everyone in New Orleans.

All the lower bowl tickets are obviously taken. And they must be trying not to open the upper deck because you can't get an upper deck seat anywhere. Plus ticketmaster is only selling lodge level in the end zones. I'm trying to get a terrace sideline seat, & it doesn't look good.

Just saw a nola owl commercial on nre orleans tv. Good commercial used louisiana ragin cajuns and had the correct design on the logo
