If working until 2am on Saturday morning, not being able to find a babysitter and choosing not to drive to NO at that hour makes me lame, then call me King Lame. Keep pounding your chest that you'll be there at 10am with bells on. Truth is some of us CAN'T.

If you feel the shoe fits, so be it. I wasn't talking to you, but I have talked to about 40 people who aren't working until 2am, who aren't on a budget... They are lame. They have had radio segments talking about being tired of New Orleans, there were people complaining about the opponent before it was even announced, if you think all of a sudden 20k people have legitimate excuses, you are kidding yourself. For every person like you that can't make it because of the start time there is someone who can make it because of the early start time. It goes both ways...I get the overall sense that people have the idea that we deserve something better, a 12-1 Marshall should make people realize we don't. I just didn't think the fanbase would get tired of something so fun in only 3 years.

No kidding. These guys on the West Coast are looking at an 8:00 am start time.

Some people don't understand the law of Diminishing Marginal Return. If you are lost in the desert with no food...the first thing you eat once you are out of the desert is going to give you satisfaction that you will never attain again. We cannot expect the same response each and every year when nothing changes or gets better. I'm choosing to stay home because of a new financial burden or as it is otherwise known my son. The money is better spent on Christmas presents and formula and diapers and medical copays (kids are always sick). I made that choice because 4 straight years of the same old thing gets tiring after a while and with the Saints in town making the prices go through the roof it's a no brainer. Also...absence makes the heart grow fonder. I fully expect to be in a bowl next year...and I would bet a good bit of money it will be in New Orleans again. Missing a year might make next year that much more special.

All I know is...criticizing people for not wanting to do the exact same thing for the 4th year in a row is infantile. We will still have a very good crowd regardless of the drop in attendance.

    10 last year.

    10 this year.

And just like last year, we're all getting there Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday.

And hopefully, my new $200 dollar contact lense is in before Thursday.

    I like to watch.

If you think this is expensive, then why all the talk of wanting to get into the Big 12...get ready for $50 to $75 game tickets...reserve parking and tailgating spots will all go up, etc. If we want to play with the big boys we will have to PAY with the big boys...

I would think that a key question is would more people go to a different, non Saint, normal time bowl, same type of opponent Bowl".......I think NO is still a better draw for the Cajuns although the situation is far from ideal!!!

Me and 5 others are going. I have been to all 4 and will continue to do so. I appreciate these bowl games. Don't want to go back to being a loser
