i see houston going after a hot asstistent coach like they did with Sumlin. Someone like Meachum (OC TCU), Herman (OC Ohio St.) or Montgomery (OC Baylor)

Oh pardon my ignorance...That figures from his defensive challenges earlier this year. Yeah, I'm actually more of a hipster though Boudreaux. Regardless, The Houston HC would be a good step for HuD.

What is his buyout at Nichols? Will we owe them a game in Thibodeaux?

Hud's buyout right now is $1.25 mil... I'd have trouble imagining Houston spending that plus the $1 mil+per year for his contract

If you are going to comment on something, you might want to present an argument that is not ignorant. Houston is a great opportunity how? They just signed the coach they fired last night to a 5 year extension. He went 7-5 and a they are in a bowl game, but he was fired. Sure they have a new stadium and more money, but the present coach was making less then Hud per year. Now they are in the AAC and there is no place for them to go from that conference. They were booted out the Big 12 and they will not got an invite to come back. Once Memphis and Cincinnati leave, you are left with an Eastern Conference. That is not a major jump for Hudspeth, although if UL doesn't get out of the SBC soon, he just may jump ship.

Try not to take my opinions so personally bro. There's nothing ignorant to what I said just because you disagree....I guess you're expecting an elite SEC team to come begging for HUDs HC services soon.

The ignorant part was you saying that Hud may leave for a DC spot when he is not a defensive coach. See the last three years of Cajuns defense.

Slow down huckleberry hound...he seemed to be pretty level headed. You should be shaking in your little dog house hoping Manny Diaz doesn't get a better job...without him you guys will be back to 4 wins...and embracing the suck.

    These have happen before:
Arkansas St head coaches to Auburn and Ole Miss and G5 power Boise St.
Ga Southern head coach to Georgia Tech
    Western Kentucky coach to Louisville

It's just like getting drafted, they will find you if you are good.

What about Tech's coach? Is he safe or might someone pick him up now that you are in a bowl?

I'm not because you would think someone might actually know a few facts before giving an opinion. So best of luck to Coach Diaz, I'm sure he will make a great OC at a P5 program........
