Should we be concerned uh fired there head coach today

If Hud thinks he cannot get to a P5 school from UL be concerned. IMO you should always work as though you have a little concern.

If Hud's going to leave a place that has his recruits to go to a place that just canned their coach after giving him a 5 year extension before the year, I'd be utterly shocked.

Hud's smarter than that. There's a 0% chance Hud goes to Houston, IMO.

    There's no benefit to him.

I'd put it a lot higher than 0%. Houston is like us in that they desperately need a program builder, and unlike us they don't lack the resources to get there.

And it's perceived to be more of a stepping stone to a P5 school. Look at Kevin Sumlin.

Would Hud take Willis with him? This could help soften the blow.

I think this would be an attractive job for HUD, Colorado St too, or go be a DC for an SEC team.

Hud is an offensive guy, not a DC. I could see him going to an SEC school as a OC, but not a DC.

i see houston going after a hot asstistent coach like they did with Sumlin. Someone like Meachum (OC TCU), Herman (OC Ohio St.) or Montgomery (OC Baylor)

Oh pardon my ignorance. That figures from his defensive challenges earlier this year. Yeah, I'm actually more of a hipster though Boudreaux. Regardless, The Houston HC would be a good step for HuD.

What is his buyout at Nichols? Will we owe them a game in Thibodeaux?
