    I was hoping to see JJ in better condition this season. He sounds like a good project for coach Whitt.

    One of JJ's childhood teammates Justin Rice died last month in a solo motorcycle wreck.

    Don't know how or if it affected his mindset.

    I'm in favor of redshirting Plaisance based on what we know. The coaches seem to be higher on him than I thought they were when he signed but he would have limited impact, I presume, this year due to the depth we thought we had in the frontcourt. Unless he was going to come in here and average double digit points and maybe rebounds, it sounds like a good idea to redshirt him this year.
