Besides them, there's 5 other teams on 3 straight bowl wins (Louisiana, Texas A&M, Michigan St, Oregon, and South Carolina)

All 6 teams on a 3 year+ streak will be in bowls this year

I seem to remember last year it was three straight bowl wins and three straight seasons with 9 or more wins. That streak would hold true once again with a win this year.

I believe the stat is three bowls and three nine win seasons. Not sure if tx am and Mich st are in that company. Also Oregon and FSU will likely be in playoff thus no bowl win in my opinion

Going in to bowls last year the teams with chance to make three nine win seasons plus three bowl wins were, bama,Vinci,Boise, Cajuns, FSU, Oregon, s.Carolina......Texas am had three bowl wins but in 2011 and this yr don't have nine wins....

Only us, s.Carolina, FSU and oregon of that list won bowls......now s.Carolina cannot get nine wins as they are at 6 wins only..... We are now in the top three..... And have chance to be only one with 4 and 4!

If they win the playoff, it's technically a bowl win (Rose or Sugar).
