I thought everyone was saying last week that invitations couldnt go out or be accepted until Dec 7? was that just a miscommunication for when the cfp selection show is?
That was when the G5 top seed bowl was in play. No longer in play so we can accept.
Awesome can't wait for the game.
That'll be 4 for 4 for me in being in attendance when the invite is extended. Looking forward to it.
Damn I'm stuck here working in fourchon and will miss the game tonight.

For the fourth consecutive season, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team will make a bowl appearance after formally accepting an invitation to the 14th annual R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on Wednesday.
Louisiana (8-4), one of six schools nationally to win a bowl game in the past three years, is scheduled to play a to-be-determined team from the Mountain West Conference on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
