Thread: UL must turn focus to Tigers

  1. Default UL must turn focus to Tigers

His Louisiana football team is still basking in the afterglow of its first win over a member of an automatic-berth BCS conference in well over a decade.

Now, Rickey Bustle said, his biggest job is to curb that enthusiasm and prepare his Ragin' Cajuns for the highest-ranked opponent they'll face this season - and a team much better than the Kansas State squad the Cajuns beat 17-15 on Saturday.

"We don't get to live with the wins or losses very long," Bustle said Monday at his press gathering for Saturday's contest at ninth-ranked LSU. "This team does deserve a pat on the back. Having said that, we've got to take it with a grain of salt and keep pushing forward. The worst thing would be to let this be the shooting star for our season, because we have a lot of football left to play."

LSU will score the majority of those possesions
Defensively, we're not going to stop them every time. Our goal will be to make it a four-quarter game and see what happens in the end." Sounds like Coach is saying exactly what we can hope for...I agree totally

I hope the players pay attention to the coaches, especially our young QB and RB...LSU will pound you and they have to be able to bounce back and keep the heads up...Good Luck Guys! Stay focused!

Although LSU should pound us, given their extreme talent advantage, they have not pounded anyone yet this season. IMO this game will stay somewhat close for three quarters if we don't give them the football.
