Interesting that CBS/others in some of their predictions seem to want UL matched up against a quality team or even a FBS opponent. It will be a top 15 in actual attendance bowl game.might as well make it an interesting one. NO Bowl would be wise to bid up on our opponent already knowing that the Cajun Nation will deliver the attendance needed to make it a wise investment.

Two things I know, we will not miss a bowl invite due to a deluded sense of grandiose importance. And we will never have a mascot die from heat distress. IMO LTU fans should focus on how those two things could happen in a 24 month window and nobody gets fired.

Well I would hardly want Florida a quality opponent to take an invite knowing their fan base will only travel for BCS level bowls, and not so much unless for a national title.

the mascot was being taken care of by a vet in town and he went on vacation and one would assume that a nurse would remember to bring in the dog and not make up a story about him getting kidnapped or running away
