TROY, Ala. – Early in his postgame remarks following a 42-23 loss to UL on Saturday that marked the end of his 24-season run as head coach of the Troy Trojans, Larry Blakeney took time to credit the 8-4 Ragin’ Cajuns.

“Although we were not able to win the game, we had guys that played hard – and anytime you face a good football team like UL (), you have to play near-perfect to win, and we certainly were not perfect,” Blakeney said.
