I hope this gets done. Definitely should be blacked out in Acadiana only until sellout is reached.

Is CST available on: 1) Directv or 2) Watch ESPN ?

    No

Possibly, but likely to be blacked out locally

Raoul, you do know Watch ESPN is for access to ESPN programming? That should answer that question.

Unless your question is will the game broadcast also be on Watch ESPN ... that language is written into the agreement, including available at no cost to ESPN.

CST would have to put a clause in the contract allowing ESPN to rebroadcast. When we had Cox4 broadcasting, they did but that may be a different situation than CST

I doubt it would be for very much. I think they would be doing it more for the exposure and to be able to claim that all our games are on TV in the south

How lucrative is having your games on every week in multiple sports in major markets all over the South? Who cares?

How VALUABLE is having your games [produced by you, and using ONLY your preferred branding] on tv every week in multiple sports all over the South? That is the question you should be asking.

Think about this: NO other University in the country that is not in a P5 conference [except Notre Dame and BYU who are essentially P5] has a television network as big as what is proposed here. This is HUGE for us if we pull it off.

Now we are asking the right questions....This is GREAT for our brand. Especially if this is targeted for a possible move to CUSA

Why would Scott Farmer have said they're negotiating "football... everything" with this deal, when there's already a deal in place?

I bet Scott Farmer expects to be somehwere our football games aren't all broadcast in the near future - another conference - and he wants the TV deal to show the exposure he's adding to the conference.

I think there's more here than meets the eye.

Every football game was broadcast this year. Why are we negotiating for something we already have?

Because we think we're headed somewhere we won't have this.
