    Ok, thought about it and here's my 2 cents.

    There's what I wish could happen.....
    UL Crushes LSU,
    UL --> 42, LSU --> 0
    It would be great, wouldn't it.

    There's what I think can happen......
    UL capitalizes on multiple turnovers and mistakes with an opportunistic defense,
    UL --> 31, LSU --> 30
    We need to be able to have a good defensive showing, slowing down their running game and not giving up many big plays. Last week, we shot ourselves in the foot with several turnovers and an unnecessary safety all in the first half, but still managed to have a halftime lead of 14-2 and win the game. Tomorrow, we cannot afford to be so generous. If we play loose, and minimize our mistakes, our team can keep us close, and at the end, pull out an upset. I like what I've seen from QB Mason, and I think he can throw on this LSU team if he's given a little time. We need him to be sharp and confident.

    There's what I think is likely to happen......
    UL fights to the end but is worn down,
    UL --> 10, LSU --> 35
    There is a reason LSU is ranked in the top 10, they are a very good team and are extremely tough to beat at home. We have the talent to give them a game, but depth is our problem. Last week in the 2nd half, KS just about shut our offense down, and they were starting to wear down our defense by running the ball more and more effectively. This is not a knock on our team or lack of faith in them or a slap at our teams character (In fact I thing our team has shown great character the past 2 games). Just plain and simple, we are an underdog going into a game against a pretty strong opponent. Not to say it can't be done, because we all know it can, but the odds are against us.

    Geaux UL!

    Agreed. Also, I think unless Bustle has some other things on offense in mind, we will struggle to even score 10-13 points. He has called a very vanilla gameplan thus far this season and we all know that the Sails dive up the middle isn't going to get us anywhere against this team. We have to find a way to establish a running game. I think we can move the ball a bit in the air but if we can't run the ball, we will not score many points.
